Spacious double room in lovely home - Kensal Rise

We are a friendly house of professionals looking to replace our current housemate Jamie, who is moving out to live with some other friends at the end of the month.

We all work 9-5pm so it is not a house for crazy weeknight parties, but still friendly and sociable. It is a relaxed environment and we sometimes like to stick on Netflix & have a meal together, but also we do our own thing too.

Marie: Project Manager for museum initiatives
Pete: political journalist

The House:
Our home is a lovely terrace house located in Kensal Rise - a quiet and residential road close in walking distance of lots of shops and amenities as well as portobello market.

The house is fully equipped with a good sized kitchen, bathroom and a large living room and dining room. We also have a spacious back garden with a bbq and table in the back perfect for hosting gatherings.

Bills come to just under £60 pcm

The Room:
Large double room on the first floor facing the garden (so nice and quiet). The room is fully furnished with 2 wardrobes, set of draws, small book case & bed.

Location:
You’re spoilt for choice with this location as everything is on your doorstep (ie. shops, a few gyms, doctors, dentists, hairdressers, pharmacy, etc). There’s also some nice pubs and restaurants nearby. The whippet inn does a great Sunday lunch and Comptoir V has an amazing vegetarian menu!

There is a large Sainsbury’s within a 5-minute walk. Hampstead Heath is also 5 minutes away on the overground and is great for jogging, tennis, walks, and a coffee etc.

Transport:
Well connected with central London!
- Buses direct to Central London, and particularly handy for getting back at night from.
- 10 minute walk to both Queens Park and Kensal Green stations for the Bakerloo line (Zone 2)
- 10 mins walk from Kensal Rise for the overground which takes you to Clapham or Stratford.
- 5 minute bus journey to Portobello Road/Notting Hill

We also have adequate space for a bike if you need it.

You:
We are looking for someone who works similar hours to us i. e. 9-5. We'd like someone who would treat the house as their home, and be considerate of the house and its housemates. Someone who enjoys a balance of hanging out or doing their own thing is cool with us.

Deposit is £870 and there is a £50.00 admin fee
