We’re looking for someone to share our modern 3 bed first floor flat opposite Hampstead Heath. Your room has its own en-suite bathroom, and the flat has a private patio. The space is modern and bright, and features storage space and underfloor heating.
The room is a comfortable and airy double room with plenty of space for a desk for working from home. The room comes part-furnished with double bed and chest of drawers. The outgoing tenant is also looking to sell his wardrobe if you're interested.
You have an en-suite modern tiled bathroom with hidden storage and a bath/shower with great water pressure.
The kitchen is clean, bright, and modern, featuring an induction hob, wine/beer fridge and, most importantly, a dishwasher!
The living room is an open social and dining space with lots of natural light and space for hosting friends and family.
The balcony from the living room opens up onto a private patio, excellent for reading or socialising outside, growing plants in pots, or even just hanging washing.
You’ll be sharing with 2 friendly, considerate professionals: Catherine is a linguistic engineer from the north of England, and Rebecca is an accountant from Canada. We are social but not intrusive, and we like to keep an open and happy flat environment! Flat activities include raiding the Tesco reduced section, ordering pizza, and watching movies that it's apparently criminal I've never seen.
Hampstead Heath is right across the road for outdoor exercise, walks in the park, picnics with friends, or dips in the ponds! Parliament Hill Fields nearby offers a skyline view of the city, and has a Farmers Market every weekend. The surrounding area has independent grocery shops, restaurants, bakery, Tesco, and more all within minutes’ walk. The historic Highgate Village is a short walk away, with great pubs and charity shops.
The location is also very well connected. All around a 15-minute walk away are Kentish Town station (for Northern Line, National Rail and Thameslink services), Archway and Tufnell Park tube stations (for Northern Line), and Gospel Oak Overground station. Alternatively, the 88 and 214 busses serve Parliament Hill Fields bus stop 24/7, less than a minute from the door, so there is always the bus for a quick shortcut to the station! You can be in the city centre in 30 minutes.
Bills (council tax (Band D), wifi, gas, electricity, water, TV license) come to around £120 per person per month, which we settle between ourselves.
Flat is available for moving in 25th August onwards.
