I’m looking for a female lodger to rent a lovely double bedroom on the top floor of our family home in Notting Hill, just a 3-minute walk from Ladbroke Grove tube station.

The room is bright and peaceful, with a comfortable double bed, a large chest of drawers, and a calm, homely feel. You’ll share the adjoining bathroom with our housekeeper, who is here three days a week.

It would be a perfect place for a professional working in London and commuting home for weekends. The setup suits someone looking for a quiet, respectful household rather than a busy flat-share.

We’re a family of five with three children, so the house has a warm, lively feel downstairs, but the top floor is private and quiet.

Use of the kitchen and living areas is limited, though you’re welcome to make tea, coffee, and simple meals.

The room is available now until 1 December, and again from 10 January onwards.
