The property:

Our maisonette consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge and open plan kitchen. An original railway cottage built in 1867 when Ladywell station was first constructed. Conservation area with a village feel. Lots of original design features such as exposed brick, pretty fireplaces, and high ceilings. Wood burning stove in the lounge as well as a home cinema - With Netflix, Prime, Spotify, Mubi, Curzon, Disney, Rakuten, and BFI. Secure bike box for storage.

High speed fibre optic broadband with Virgin. Features included: large range cooker, fridge, microwave, gas central heating, bath & shower, dishwasher, washing machine and large flat screen TV in the lounge.

The garden

One of the best features of the property is the large garden - spacious, quiet and private. Great for relaxing, sunbathing, reading or entertaining. A permaculture organic garden, nearly 100 ft long with medicinal herbs, fruit trees and lots of edible perennials. BBQ and outdoor wood burner with a large table for outdoor dining. A real oasis in London. Great for meeting friends safely during the pandemic. We love growing food, and I would be happy to share my knowledge.

Travel:

We are incredibly well connected for travel: Just a three minute walk to Ladywell station which takes you into London Bridge in 10 minutes, Cannon Street in 12 and Waterloo East in 15 / Charring cross station in 20. From Ladywell you can also travel quickly to Beckenham, Catford and Hayes on the line to Kent.
Lewisham station / DLR is a 10 minute walk away. The DLR runs to Bank, Greenwich, Deptford, and Canary Wharf.
We are also incredibly well connected with bus routes from Lewisham high-street taking you to anywhere in London.

Brockley station and the overground line is a 20 minute walk away, or 8 minute bus ride - Taking you to Canada Water, Canary Wharf, West London, etc
Crofton Park station - 25 minute walk takes you Peckham, Orpington, Sevenoaks etc

Ladywell village is a 5 minute walk and boasts lots of attractions: Oscars cafe, Gently gift shop, Plenty (eco refill shop) Le delice (french cafe, amazing for cakes), The larder (Deli), Mamma Dough Pizza, the famous Fox & Firkin music venue (also does food), and our local friendly pub The Ladywell Tavern (outdoor garden, open fire and great Sunday Roasts). Ladywell park boasts a cafe, The Ravensbourne River, Tennis, bowling, running clubs & walking clubs.
Hilyfields park - Pistachios cafe, bowling club and tennis. Great place to meet friends.
Other local parks: Lewisham park, Manor Park, Manor Park Gardens, Local amenities: Lewisham centre (10 minute walk) has a great daily food market, and lots shops such as Sainsbury’s, M&S, H&M, Aldi, Flying Tiger, TK Max, Primark, as well as Glass Mill Leisure centre and swimming pool, and lots of local gyms
