Hey there,

Looking for someone to take my gorgeous double room in this spacious shared South-East London house.

Downstairs spacious bedroom has accommodated me very well with living and working from home.
The room opens out onto the garden which is lovely in spring and summer.

Spacious living room gets all the yummy morning sunshine and is fab for hosting and chilling in.
2 bathrooms, one upstairs and down, with a choice for a shower or bath.
The kitchen has enough space for all of us to cook in and looks out onto our garden.
The garden gets lots of light and is lined with beds for growing vegetables and or flowers. I had fun last summer growing courgettes, spinach, kale, tomatoes, green beans, raspberries and blackcurrants; so plenty of room for anyone with a green thumb!

Who your sharing with?
This is a professionals house with 3 others working varying hours. Viraj, a doctor, often works nights/on call,
Dixita is a designer working from home and in office, like Akhil, who works in finance.
If you are looking for a social living scene, this isn’t the right fit for you, it is a professional share.

The area
Our road is quiet and the neighbours mostly elderly couples or families.
Well situated, only 5 minute walk to Ladywell station which is a few stops from London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross. Catford is a 15 min walk away which also takes you to Croften Park, Peckham and Blackfriars.
Catford has a fab cinema/co-working space called Catford Mews, tickets are only £5!
You are a 35 minute walk to Brockley which is great for the overground and has lovely coffee shops.
Ladywell park is right on your doorstep which is perfect for summer and beautiful to walk through with a stream running through it.
Shops nearby: Aldi and Tesco superstore.

Nitty gritty
I am leaving the contract so this is a tenant swap situation. Please only reply to this add if you are interested in signing onto the last 7 months of the contract (this contract can be extended if the house agrees to).
You will need to have references checked by our estate agent and to pay a security deposit.
Once I have found a suitable fit, I will pass on you email and name to the estate agents on the 11/04 and they will take it from there.

Move in date - May 7th. (Can accommodate later if you can’t move in until the weekend)
End of contract is 7th January 2025.
