I am renting a big double bedroom, in a split level flat within a gated Grade 2 Listed building, conveniently located between Oval and Stockwell.

The room has a really comfortable double bed, a built in double wardrobe, under bed storage and amazing views over London - the London Eye, Houses of Parliament, BT Tower, the Shard and the City etc.

The flat is bright and really quiet, with the bedrooms and bathroom (including laundry) downstairs and upstairs is a big open plan kitchen/dining room and lounge up stairs. The kitchen is equipped with with dishwasher, coffee machine (!) and big fridge-freezer, along with other appliances.

The building itself is stunning, and as the flat is on the 2nd floor, there is a lift. The building has a really helpful porter Monday-Saturday who will collect post/parcels and deliver to the front door. The other residents are nice with a mix of young/old/families. The is also a roof terrace which you can access and is fun for having drinks/sun bathing. There is also a parking space.

The neighbourhood is quiet and the building is opposite a gorgeous park with the best coffee shop. Also close by is gyms (Puregym and The Gym), supermarkets in Camberwell/Stockwell, 2 GP practices, nice pubs, tennis courts etc.

The flat is less than 15 minutes walk from Oval tube and less than 20 to Stockwell as well as close to Clapham, Brixton, Peckham, New Cross etc.

I own the flat so am looking for a flatmate who I can be good friends with, and that cares about where they live, and is clean and tidy.
