This spacious high ceilinged room has good storage, large window facing South. Live-in landlady is semi retired after many years in the world of theatre. I share my home happily with younger people and sometimes we share a Sunday lunch together. I greatly enjoy good conversations , about almost anything!

Ideally I'd like a cheerful , cultured girl who loves all forms of Art, books, theatre, classical music etc. No visiting friends unless by arrangement. This keeps the house quiet and everyone knows each other.

You would share bathroom with 1 other girl. We have a cleaning lady who comes once a week. Her fee is included in your rent. all bed linen and towels provided.

Wonderful private garden and friendly housemates from a variety of professions - a professional photographer from Wales, a Portuguese scientist, and a Brazilian dietician. We each appreciate our privacy but sometimes socialise together.

Large modern kitchen, very well equipped ( range cooker, washing machine , tumble drier, dishwasher, 3 fridges, juicer, blender, food processor, coffee makers etc) . . WiFi. Space for a bike in the garden shed. . Prefer someone who works Monday to Friday, daytimes, in Central London. The Battersea Library on Lavender Hill has a large airy "reading room" at the back of the building...ideal if you need a study day or a wfh.

Piano. Books. Nice neighbours! Few minutes walk from the open spaces of Clapham Common and Battersea Park.

Public transport.... 6 bus routes within 3 mins walk. Clapham Common tube is 15 min walk or 5 mins on bus; Clapham Junction station also a short walk or 5 mins on bus; easy to get to Sloane Square, Nine Elms, Vauxhall, South Kensington etc.

Super close to Sainsbury Local and Tesco Metro, plus large Sainsbury and M and S food hall, and Waitrose at Clapham Common, ASDA and Lidl at Clapham Junction. Plenty of Gyms locally. Peter Jones/John Lewis at Sloane Square is just. a twenty minute bus ride away.
