We’re looking for someone to come and join our lovely, big, creative, LGBT+ friendly, four-bedroom house in Brockley/Lewisham.

We’re hoping to mainly do viewings in the evening this week (probably Weds 9th or Thu 10th) but it might also be possible for us to arrange something in the day time too - and also possibly in the morning on Saturday.

We are a household of three professionals (Nick, Denis and Adam) in our thirties working for the NHS, in TV and as a primary teacher. We also have a friendly but greedy cat called Morris (but he's not a fan of other cats/dogs, so no extra pets I'm afraid).

We all have our own things going on but still like to hang out together - cook and eat together, go to the pub, that kind of thing. It’s definitely a home not a party house and we’re really looking for someone who’s up for hanging out as a house sometimes, and is also all the obvious – friendly, liberal, chilled and easy going, tidy and house proud, considerate of the fact they live with other people, and basically looking for a home not just somewhere to crash ☺

The bedroom is a bright and quiet double room on the first floor looking out over the garden at the back of the house. There's original wooden floors, a cast iron fireplace (non-functional) and a built in wardrobe. There’s also a bed & mattress and some shelving but it’s not a problem to remove these if you already have your own furniture.

The house is currently being completely repainted and having new carpets fitted and has all the normal things - central heating, brand new washing machine, dishwasher, good shower. There's a big kitchen/diner and a large living room with a working open fire. The garden has a BBQ and small patio area with room to store a bike.

The house is around a 10 minute walk to all Brockley, Lewisham & St John's stations (10mins to London Bridge, 15mins to Shoreditch High Street) and is just 1 minute from Hilly Fields Park. The immediate area is pretty quiet but still has a lot going on very nearby - cafés, farmers market, independent shops and bars. Brockley, New Cross and Lewisham centres are all a really close walk.

Rent is £750 per month and includes all bills including council tax (accepting that if gas/electricity prices go crazy again we might need to chip in a bit more). Superfast broadband is also included.

You'd be sub-letting through us initially so no fees or other nonsense estate agent stuff! And the room is available now.
