1 double room within Leyton

Ad ref# 11851918

Hello, I am a live in landlord with a creative and friendly household, looking to let a spacious garden facing room to a single professional female.

You will be sharing the house with three amazing creative people: A TV/AD producer (Louise) a Textiles consultant/designer (Holly) who is my partner and myself the Landlord (Nash) a creative director in photography and design.

All can cook and really enjoy coffee!! We are extremely lucky to have a few local coffee brands/roasters close by.
The house is a quiet one, I meditate and practice yoga, have a creative studio from which i work from and enjoy living surrounded by trees and nature. The house is large so there is lots of space for privacy and a large wild garden with a Fig and Apple Tree:).

We are a house that’s active in yoga, running, cycling and most recently skating. Since lockdown we are seeing the mini Holland initiative has helped encourage cycling. Close to the Olympic Park for great walks down the canal to Victoria Park, Hackney Marshes, Ive Park all in good walking distance.

Leyton Overview:

This “new” Leyton is all about Hackney overflow. Young families and creatives moving to Leyton. This bright hub has encouraged independent shops, restaurants and cafés to open. There's a great community feel here, and parts of the roads have been pedestrianised, with wider pavements and new trees, planting and cycle lanes along with plenty of bike hangers.

Leyton and Leytonstone are on the edge of Epping Forest with its Hollow Ponds green space close by. A few blocks south come to rest on the High Road, from Deeneys famous grilled toasties and coffee to Turkish grills.

Waltham Forest is a borough coming into its own. Not only does it enjoy the status of being London’s first Borough of Culture, it has also won Mayoral funding to improve the local environment under the Healthy Streets Initiative.
And Francis Road (less than a 10min walk), formerly traffic-clogged, now epitomises the borough’s inspirational ethos.
The newly pedestrianised street is home to an ever-growing number of independent shops: a tattoo parlour, a book store, an art gallery-cum-gift shop, a vintage clothes store, restaurants, an organic food store and a pub, the Northcote.

Leyton is a quick in and quick out of London – a rare commodity. Trains: the Central line for Stratford (5 mins), Liverpool Street (14 mins) and Oxford Circus (24 mins); Overground Leyton Midland is every 15 mins or so to Barking (10 mins), Gospel Oak (25 mins) via Walthamstow (4 mins). Driving: on the A12 for a fast route out of town; 20 mins to the M25.

We look forward to hearing from you.
Please feel free to contact me for any questions, or for a viewing.

Best,

Nash
