Come and share with us! We are Ruby working in risk management and Laura, working at a school in Stratford, both in our early 30s. There are two available rooms for single people only. One has a double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a desk and overlooks the garden. The second room has a single bed, lots of storage space and a desk, overlooking the garden. Both are available now.
We keep a clean and tidy house. It is fully furnished with a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine and a sunny, decked garden perfect for barbecues. The bathroom has a bath and shower and there is a second toilet in the house.
Leyton has good shops, with great bars (Leyton Technical), restaurants (Marmelo’s) and Frances Road with lots of individual shops and restaurants. The house is close to a 24-hour Asda, TKMax, Next and a Fitness First gym.
We are only a few minutes from Leyton tube (Central Line, Zone 3) with a 10 minute journey to Liverpool St, 15 mins to the West End and 20 minutes to Canary Wharf. Just ten minutes away is Leyton High Road station (Silverlink, Gospel Oak to Barking) which can put you on the Victoria Line in 10 minutes,. The N205 night bus runs to the end of the road as does the 24-hour no 69 bus.
The local council gym with 25-metre pool is a few minutes away. The house is walking distance to Stratford and the Westfield shopping centre, 17-screen cinema and one of the best fringe theatres in London. Stratford has the DLR, Jubilee Line and overground rail lines. The Queen Elizabeth Park (Olympic Park)with its 50-metre pool and fitness centre are within walking distance. As well as the Olympic Park we are not far from Wanstead Flats so we have lots of open spaces nearby for running and walking. Resident street parking is available from £30 a year.
