Double room in Leytonstone

Hi, I’m John. I have a double room available to rent in my two-bedroom flat in Leytonstone – just a short 3–4 minute walk from Leytonstone tube station and close to the high street, with plenty of shops and amenities nearby.

The flat is a good size for a two-bed, well-decorated, and kept clean and tidy. While there’s no outdoor space, it’s very close to Leyton Flats, which is great for walks and getting outdoors. The flat has a reliable broadband connection and a basic TV package. If you need somewhere to put your things the flat also has storage in the loft which is boarded and easily accessible by a loft ladder.

There’s a large Tesco about 7 minutes away, as well as ALDI and a Sainsbury’s Express nearby. A PureGym is also just around the corner.

The room itself is a decent size double room - approx 3.5M x 3M.

A bit about me – I’m 41, gay, and work as a Civil Servant in Canary Wharf. I usually work from home 2–3 days a week, and spend the rest of the time in the office. I own the flat and value a calm, respectful living environment. I'm sociable and enjoy a chat, but also appreciate quiet time. I have a small dog - but he only comes to stay with me for an evening once in a while (shared with ex).

The ad says LGBT household - but I honestly don’t care about that as long, as you’re clean and considerate you’re welcome to get in contact.

The initial tenancy would be for 3 months, with the possibility of extending it afterwards. I would prefer someone who does not entirely work from home as it might feel a bit crowded when I do. A couple of days per week is fine - we can work out something. :)

Rent includes all bills.
