The rent will be £847 per month (due on the 1st of each month). Deposit is one month’s rent (£847).
Bills are not included and are typically £120–£150 per person.
Move in can be as soon as possible after all of the documents have been arranged with the landlord.
The room has a double bed with a brand new mattress and includes a standing wardrobe. It has a lovely view overlooking a park and gets plenty of evening sunlight.
The kitchen and bathroom are a little on the smaller side but are fully equipped with everything you need. There is also a lounge area off the kitchen with a new sofa and a TV. The flat has plenty of character, it isn’t brand new, but it’s comfortable and well looked after. We also have quite a few plants, which make the space feel bright and homely.
The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk from London Bridge station, with Bermondsey Street nearby, full of great cafes and restaurants. The area is especially lovely in summer and is within easy walking distance of central London.
There are three bedrooms in the flat. Both current housemates are female. I’m Australian and have lived in London for over a decade, and in this flat for 7 years. I really love it here. The other housemate is British and moved in this March. We both work Monday to Friday and typically work from home 2 days a week.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone in their 30s, though late 20s would be considered for the right fit.
We’re looking for someone who is clean, kind, and respectful of shared living. Ideally, you’ll have previous experience living in a shared flat. We’re fairly calm during the week, so the space would suit someone with a similar lifestyle, ideally working in an office at least part of the week. It would be great to live with someone who is friendly and social, rather than just sharing the space.
