Unfortunately we have to leave our sunny one-bedroom flat for reasons beyond our control. Therefore, we are looking for a single or couple to take over from Feb 18th (potentially earlier).

The flat is on the 3rd floor of a converted Victorian school building in a residential street. The building is in a gated yard, which makes it both very quiet and safe. It’s a 15min walk to Brick Lane/Spitalfields with loads of restaurants and a busy market on the weekend and 10min walk to Bethnal Green. The location is probably one of the best in East London when it comes to public transport.

The flat is quite spacious for London standards, with separate living room, bed room, kitchen and a nice bathroom with shower over bathtub. Located on the 3rd floor with south and east facing windows, the flat is really bright and gets lots of natural light. Plus you get a killer view over east London and Canary Wharf.

The flat comes partly furnished including a fully equipped kitchen, double bed, pull out sofa, dining table and lots of built-in storage space in the bedroom and in the hall. The flat has hard wood flooring throughout and is refurbished to a high standard.

A gated private parking space just outside the building is included in the rent, which is great if you have a car but can also be used to store bikes.

The flat is rented from a private landlady who lives abroad but she has a friend managing the place for her. Both of them are very friendly and responsive and take well care of the place. Depending on what will be negotiated with them the new tenants would either take over our lease (till August) or or agree on a new lease for at least 1 year. They require the usual references.

Monthly rent is 1430 at the moment including super-fast broadband internet but excluding bills and council tax. Bills plus council tax come in at around 150 per month on average.
