Double room available in arty flat in East London

We’ve got a double room available in our lovely, colourful flat in Upton Park... sharing with a pair of creative ladies with a love of cooking and a feline furball with a knack for winning over every anti-cat person he meets!

*** We are considering renting one or both of the other rooms - the smallest double (seen in photos) and largest with en suite (photos coming soon) depending on work decisions (damn Covid!) and interest ***

The room is a comfortable double (the larger room in the photos) which can be arranged flexibly and can accommodate some extra furniture if necessary. It’s got a large south-facing window so is really sunny!
There is an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room with newly fitted extra large oven/hob/fridge/freezer/dishwasher for an ultra-pleasurable cooking experience.
The place has been designed with lots of hidden extra storage and has a gigantic loft which can be used for storing all sorts!
There is a south-facing garden out the back, full of character and with a perfect little sun trap corner for when the summer rolls back around. There is also a car park and room for bicycle storage.

We are an easy going pair, both creative professionals working in the festival and events scene, who like to cook and share dinners regularly, though of course no pressure to have to dine together and with zero judgement on anyone’s dietary choices! We like to hang out and chat, with the odd bottle of something and occasional movie evening on the projector.

It is about 7 min walk from Upton Park station on the District/Hammersmith&City Lines and has buses from directly outside with a short journey to Stratford station (Jubilee, Central, DLR, overground). There is a fruit/veg market and a decent sized Tesco and also an Indian supermarket within 5 minutes walk - Green Street is full of beautifully colourful sari and jewellery shops and some really delicious Asian eateries.
