Hi - I’m a female professional with a double room available from Mon-Fri (4 nights) in central Stratford. All bills/Wi-Fi included. Also open to a short term full time (7 days) let as I’m not around much at the moment.
The 2-bed flat is in a secure building (fob access) with a large roof terrace and just a few minutes walk from the Elizabeth line.
This would suit someone independent who wants somewhere quiet, and more hassle free than booking hotels/Air BnB when regularly needing to come into London for work/study during the week.
- Open plan lounge/kitchen with all essentials
- Bathroom with shower/bath
- Bedroom with double bed, drawers, wardrobe
- Zone 2/3 with great transport links
- Stratford station (Central/Jubilee/DLR) and Stratford International (7 mins to St. Pancras/Kings Cross) less than 10 mins walk
- Maryland station (Elizabeth line to Liverpool Street in 9 mins) at the top of the road
- Close to Westfield Shopping Centre and the Olympic Park (less than 10 mins) and all local amenities
- Bus stops a 3 minute walk from both Windmill Lane and The Grove.
It’s a quiet building with friendly neighbours who are mainly professionals/families. The building is located on a private road.
I’m generally busy and out of an evening, or just relaxing at home. I go out to socialise so don’t often have visitors to the flat during the week (it’s not a party flat!)
I’m a young at heart friendly and fun 45 yr old who enjoys regular travel to Croatia and the south west to see family, a good chat over a glass of Prosecco with friends, and an occasional Netflix binge! I work in regeneration with a team of architects and the community shaping plans for new homes and spaces.
My previous flatmate and I chatted when we saw each other (and sometimes hardly did as we were both in and out). We were both respectful of each other’s space.
I sometimes have my 8 year old goddaughter to stay at the weekend in the room. Totally fine to leave belongs in the room at weekends - the room would be yours.
Looking for someone who does not need to regularly work/study from the flat in the day as I work from home some days and often in meetings.
Additional days considered (weekends) by arrangement in advance at £45 per night. Female preferred. No couples.
Open to flexibility as the world of working from home and striking a work/life balance has changed so much now since Covid. Perhaps you need Sunday night to Thursday/Friday for example.
Feel free to get in touch to ask questions/discuss!
Sarah :)
