Double room E3 - Available now

Hi All,

I have a furnished double room available to rent in a two bedroom flat. The room consists of a double bed with lots of under bed storage. The bedroom has two large double fitted wardrobes, plenty of natural light and it comes with its own bathroom suite just off the room. The bathroom isn’t shared and it would be your own. The bathrooms recently got renovated so pretty new.

The flat has a furnished sitting room with kitchen and all amenities ( washer, dryer, dishwasher, freezer and fridge) and a lovely balcony which gets lots of sun. Perfect for evening drinks, chilling working outside. There are lights on the balcony too.

The flat is located in the heart of Bow but it is a walk away from Hackney Wick, Victoria Park, Roman Road, Mile End and Bow Church station.

I am the current tenant and the lease is in my name. I’ve lived here for a year and a half. I’m a school teacher. I like running and I’m into tech. I like to socialise but the flat is not a party flat and I need someone who’s respectful of the landlord and neighbours. I’m looking for someone who respects a place, someone who is willing to make it a home, who wants a flat mate but also wants their own space in a clean and tidy environment.. The room is not suitable for couples. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who doesn’t work from home full time but if you could let me know your situation in your message it would be considered.

The advert says 5months only as the lease will be renewed December the 1st unless rent is extortionate then both of us would need to leave at the end of November. I am sure the rent will go up in December as the agents said it would go up by couple of hundred. However, it would be something to consider between the two of us. Just being honest as to why it’s only listed for 5 months.

I would prefer to live with a female and someone who is LGBTQ+ friendly.

The flat requires a deposit and references. I can arrange viewings anytime this week. After this week it will be evenings and weekends only.

I can be flexible on the move in date for the right person with a deposit and 1months rent as the room is currently empty now.
