The room:
Large, modern, double room with ensuite bathroom, in a canal side 2 bedroom flat in Hackney Wick. The ensuite has a large walk in shower. Room comes furnished as in photos with small double bed (Simba memory foam mattress), wardrobes, desk, lamp and chair.

£1500 is inclusive of all bills, a regular cleaner and we also have a brilliant gym & concierge in the building.

The space:
It’s a new build so everything is fresh and modern, it has a beautiful large private terrace overlooking the canal which adjoins the spacious kitchen and living area with a glass sliding door, so the space is always airy and bright. The kitchen/living area has large windows spanning the whole length of the room so it’s incredibly bright with canal views, and there’s a nice big flatscreen TV in there too. In terms of kitchen utilities, theres everything you need from Microwave to dishwasher to air fryer to spacious fridge/freezer. We have a washer/driver and there is also underfloor heating throughout the flat too so it’s a cozy dream in the winter.

There is an impressive fully equipped gym in the building, a concierge service and bike storage.

I have a cleaner who comes regularly (included in the price) and I keep the space tidy and clean. I have 2 very friendly and affectionate fluffy rag dolls called Rum and Ginger so just be prepared for cuddles and a bit of fluff!

The location is ideal - part of a quiet community in Fish Island but is only a few mins walk from the incredible nightlife Hackney Wick has to offer. It’s a 6 min walk from Hackney Wick station, 5 min walk to Victoria Park, 5 min walk to the Olympic park and only 20min walk from Stratford station. Fish Island village is a creative hub full of cafes, fashion studios and small business owners, and theres’s loads of great coffee shops, restaurants, bars, nail bars and pilates/ dance/ yoga studios if thats your thing.

About me:
I’m 35 and am from London. I’ve been living in this flat for 6 years. I’m a freelance creative - I work from home a lot.

I work in the music industry and am a big music head, so I love going out and being social but I also love soft life - yoga and meditation keeps me grounded and my flat has become a bit of a zen haven!
