You'll have the flat to yourself most of the time

Long version: Double room with built in wardrobe in a new build. Seems nice. Live in landlord. Current flat mate moving out after 4 years of living together. He is happy to provide an honest reference of my idiosyncrasies. I'm no Factotum, but have a variety of professional interests and split my time between Weymouth and London.

The flat has a kitchen, living room/dining area and a stolen library supply of books. There is also a wrap around balcony for you smokers (I don't participate but I don't discriminate).

There is a reading corner with an Eames perfectly placed to enjoy sweeping views of the glass and steel that is blighting London's architectural heritage (however, you can't be too angry about it because you'll also be in one).

Happy to share a floor plan (everyone loves a floor plan) to give you a better idea of the space. But I would rather not share unflattering flat photos with the rest of the web. Also happy for the room to be furnished or unfurnished, up to you. Cleaner pops in once every 2 weeks.

Access to a gym, pool and spa also included (Less than Zero of these are in the flat itself) .

Now for the COVID-19 stuff and the Brave New World we are in. The apartment is well suited for working from home and probably best that I give a FaceTime guided tour of the place before you visit it in person.
