Hi all,
I'm looking to sublet my room for a period of 4-6 months (with very likely extension) which leaves YOU with the perfect opportunity to join my flatmates in enjoying the delights of this beautiful flat/neighbourhood!
The available room is a huuuge (I’m serious ― it’s huge) double bedroom with en suite and a balcony located on a top floor in a 3 bedroom apartment. It comes furnished with a double bed, a desk, two big wardrobes, double glazing and two radiators (we've been using flip flops and shorts during the Winter as got a brand new boiler). The bathroom is large as well, got a massive mirror, sink, toilet, power shower, a radiator and a mirror.
First floor - two other rooms and a shared bathroom, second floor - living room and a kitchen. Third floor - your room with en suite and a balcony. If you like privacy rest assured you will have it! This is a gated development with a concierge (if you are a cyclist there is a bike shed as well).
A living room offers three sofas, a large table for 8 people, washing machine, brand new dishwasher, small fridge and freezer. You do not have to worry about cutlery/plates, ironing desk, iron as well as kitchenware as it's all already in. There is a huge wall and we've been using a projector to watch some movies.
And while the above description and photos might already have you excited, I haven't even gotten to the best part which is the location! Shoreditch is in the absolute heart of the city with a variety of restaurants, cinemas, clubs and vibrant nightlife.
In terms of transport, it is a 6 min walk to Liverpool Station and around 8 min walk to Old Street meaning you have a connection to all tube lines, buses, national rail and airports access within a stone throw. A 24h Tesco, Coop, Tesco Express, Sainsbury's Local, pubs, cinemas etc are all within 10 min walk.
Rent is £1233,66 per month and in terms of bills (council tax, electricity, internet, water, cleaner) you are looking at another £100ish per month so all in close to about £1.330 per month.
In terms of what we are looking for in a flatmate, you will ideally be a clean, young professional who is looking for a friendly, peaceful home (not a party house or a crash pad!), and be up for occasionally spending time together while still being able to respect each other's privacy.
A brief description of current flatmates - Fubin is 32y old German who has been living in London for the last few years, and have loved my time here so far. By profession, he works in sales and his hobbies are travelling and going to the gym.
Peter is 35y old Australian who lives in London since a pretty long time, works in IT sector and enjoys travelling as well as sports and going out for drinks. He’s a master of cooking and must have some Italian roots as his pizza looks like from Napoli.
