A rare opportunity to rent a room in a Tower which is part of the celebrated Barbican Estate. A great view over London, and next door to the excellent arts facilities of the Barbican Center. (It is hoped that this will be opened more fully later in the year.)
In addition to the bed and fitted carpet, your room has a fitted wardrobe, a chest of drawers, two small tables, a desk and chair, bookshelves and an armchair. You would have largely your own use of a bathroom and of the kitchen and Livingroom by sensible arrangement. There is under-floor heating from October until April. A cleaner comes weekly.

ME. Although ancient in years I am pretty youthful in outlook as many younger friends would confirm, and I have a good sense of humor. I used to work as a Church 'Civil Servant'. I particularly enjoy classical music ( I am a choral singer), the theatre and the other arts.

YOU. I should prefer you to be a qualified professional or someone training for a profession or working for a post-graduate degree. You would, if possible, share some of my own interests. You would be good natured and reasonably tidy.
