Hi, I’m Roane,

I’m moving in with my partner and am sadly leaving this wonderful house with Alice, an Interior Architect, Vicky, a community manager, and Gavin, a creative director.

The room is a large south facing double on the upper ground floor in our Hackney townhouse. It has lots of natural light and views straight out onto the park and the city of London. There’s a small shower bathroom shared with one other flatmate with an additional very large bathroom 1 floor up.

The house has a shared living room, kitchen, storage, two bathrooms, and a large back garden that’s perfect for barbecues and dinners in the summer. It sits on a quiet road, with restricted car access, and looks out on to Stonebridge gardens (a park).

The housemates all hang out and enjoy dinners, trips to talks, and exhibitions, and gym classes together whilst still having their own plans and lives. It’s a great balance.

The move in date is flexible although priority will be given to those who can move in on 24th (or before). Although the room comes unfurnished, we can have a chat if there are any bits you would want - at the moment there is a double bed, mattress, bookshelves and a giant solid teak wardrobe.

Please note that the estate agents we rent from require a proof of a permanent contract with an annual salary of £32k or more to pass their affordability checks.

We’re looking for a Male flatmate to keep the split equal in the house.

The rent was increased last year so is unlikely to increase much more. The current tenancy expires in May 2025 but generally this has been rolled over many times over the last 10 years.
