Room for rent near London Fields

Hello!

I am moving out of London in April and looking for someone to fill one of the lovely rooms in this big 6 bed, 4 story town house in Hackney.

The house is very spacious, and on a beautiful street which leads straight down to London Fields. It’s very well connected - Hackney Central, Hackney Downs and London Fields Stations are all within a 10min walk, and Dalston Junction & Kingsland are a 15min walk away. It’s near to great pubs like the Spurstowe, the George and the Victoria, and 5min walk away from London Fields Lido. It’s truly been such a great place to live, wedged in the perfect location between Hackney and Dalston.

The room itself is very spacious, on the upper-ground floor and west facing with plenty of afternoon sunlight. It is £864 plus £155 in bills which is for everything including a small amount for the communal kitty, as we do a monthly shop for all house essentials. Just one thing to note is bills can occasionally be a bit more in winter due to heating!

There is a shed to park bikes, and also a lovely work-in-progress garden as well, which a couple of the flatmates are currently trying to sort out post-winter to get it back to its former glory, just in time for bbqs szn. I’ve definitely very much enjoyed using it last year for morning coffee and a bit of sunbathing!

You’d be sharing with 5 wonderful flatmates - Iona, Aidan, Pete, Ben and Jamie - who I am genuinely so sad to be leaving! They have become great pals, and the house is generally pretty social where we chill and catch up in the kitchen, as well as the occasional little pub outing / park sitting / garden BBQ, but also respect each other’s space and all have our own thing going on.

I will be moving out on the 9th April, so ideally looking for someone to move in the following weekend of 11/12th. We would also be looking to replace me with ideally a girl, just to keep a little bit of balance in the house! Everyone is between 28-31 so somewhere in the 25-35 range would be fab, but def can be flexible on this.
