ABOUT THE ROOM

I don’t want to sugar coat the description at all. This is a total box room. It is tiny. It is also next to the shower room. It does come with furniture and a bit of under bed storage, as well as a desk that swings out from the wall (but it probably won’t suit someone that works from home all the time). On the plus side, it has a nice view out over the gardens and you’re not overlooked at all.

ABOUT THE FLAT

Please note we don’t have a living room, but there is a decently sized kitchen and we have a garden! We’re on a pretty quiet road very close to London Fields and the Lido, which is pretty sweet. Our landlady is really responsive and friendly too.

The bills usually add up to around an average of £100/month.

ABOUT THE FLATMATES

There are currently two of us.

You’ll be living with me, Amanda. I am 37 and work as a freelance editor and website designer. I’m into travelling, reading, painting (badly but improving) and gaming, and I also love yoga and karate.

Here’s an intro from the other flatmate: I’m Jack, I’m 26, I’m a Chef at a lovely restaurant i borough, so I’ll be in and out of the house a quite a lot. I like to cook, do some running and cycling, big fan of national trust houses as well. Generally fairly relaxed type of fellow, always keen for a natter!

It is a chilled flatshare - to be clear it’s not a fun free zone, and of course we have people over, but it’s not a house party kind of place. I would really like to find friendly, considerate and sociable people.

We like to keep it clean too. You’re not going to be timed on washing up the dishes BUT it would be cool if you could, you know, wipe the counter and take the trash out on occasion :) We take turns to clean all the communal areas, so you’re welcome to find a cleaner to do your turn if you want!
