BRIGHT VICTORIAN ATTIC ROOM – QUIET & CREATIVE HOME

SHORT SUMMARY
Bright, furnished double room in a Victorian attic flat in Stamford Hill, 10 minutes from Stoke Newington Church Street. This is a very light, sunny room with an open skyline view, recently refreshed. You will be sharing the flat with just one other person (me).

IMPORTANT
Single occupancy only. This is a non-smoking household. As the flat is a registered business address and my place of work, I require a housemate who is a settled professional.

COSTS AND AVAILABILITY
Available: March 2026
Rent: £850 pcm (payable in advance)
Deposit: £850
Price includes all utilities (water, electricity), Wi-Fi, and Council Tax share.

THE FLAT AND ROOM
The room is 3.8m x 3m with plenty of space for shelves and a working desk. You are free to shuffle furniture around to suit your needs. PLEASE NOTE: The flat has NO living room. The kitchen and bathroom are shared.

THE HOUSEMATE / LODGER
Ideally someone clean, considerate, and independent. The neighborhood is very peaceful, and I maintain a calm home environment—I don't play loud music or host parties. I am friendly and open to a chat in the kitchen, but I generally respect privacy.

I work quite a lot and am away every other month for 2 to 3 weeks. When I am home, I am usually working on my computer or out on site. This home would suit someone who appreciates a settled, respectful atmosphere.

ABOUT ME
I am an experimental filmmaker and artist, also working in marketing and cultural projects. I enjoy cinema, reading, and the arts. I'm a creative person—I have my guitars in my room and enjoy a creative atmosphere, though I'm always mindful of volume and neighbors. I've lived here for a long time and truly love the area.

ABOUT THE AREA
Stamford Hill/Stoke Newington is a fantastic, safe neighborhood. Church Street (10 mins walk) is full of independent bars, cafes, and restaurants. There is plenty of green space nearby: the River Lea is 15 mins East and Clissold Park is 15 mins West.

TRANSPORT
For getting around there is a huge choice:
Two train stations within a 10-minute walk go direct to Liverpool Street.
Numerous 24-hour bus routes nearby.
Manor House (Piccadilly) and Seven Sisters (Victoria) are 15 to 20 mins away.
