I'll be leaving my room and my 2 great flatmates soon, so we are on the look out for a friendly and respectful housemate to replace me in this awesome flatshare!
About the flat and area:
The flat is located in the lovely neighborhood of South Hampstead (NW6), < 1 min walk from Finchley Road station (Metropolitan, Jubilee) and ~10 min from Finchley & Frognal and South Hampstead (Overground) so you'll reach easily any part of London.
There is a plenty of supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and convenient stores directly outside our home, with a huge Waitrose right next door. You will also find <5 min away a big Sainsbury, an Iceland as well as the nearby O2 center with plenty of restaurants, shops, gym and a movie theater. The flat is on the ground floor and has a shared patio/courtyard outside.
It comes furnished and fully equipped with:
- kitchen appliances and ustenstils
- fridge + freezer
- hob, oven, microwave
- dishwasher
- washer and dryer
The kitchen and living room are shared.
Bonus: the place is also cat-friendly ! If you bring a furry friend, I can attest he/she will receive lots of love here, just like mine did !
About the room:
The room is longer than it is wide but very functional and comes with:
- a large double bed
- a dresser
- a massive wardrobe
Additional storage spaces are available in the living room and communal area, but I personally didn't need them.
During lockdown, I've also been able to fit a foldable desk table and chair to work remotely, which can then be fitted under the bed when not in use. It's also possible to work in the living room which is quiet most of the day :) I can consider leaving you the foldable desk and chair I bought if agreed upon before I move out.
The ensuite bathroom is directly in the room and includes:
- a large sink with drawers and shelves
- a mirror
- toilet
- shower
About this home and flatmates:
You will share the flat with two kind professionals (M30 and F25) working as a doctor and software engineer, respectively. We like to socialise by sharing meals over the week, doing movie night with take-out food or trying out new restaurants (pre-covid!), but we also enjoy spending time on our own. This is not a party flat at all, but visitors are welcome of course (only when covid allows it!). Everyone is respectful of each other's personal space and time, and the communal areas are kept clean and tidy :) We also take the virus seriously and are looking for similar-minded people in this respect, who will take precautions.
Rent and bills: the rent is £819 pcm *including all utility bills* except the internet (+£10). The council tax is split evenly and account for £77/month, for a total of £906 all-included.
Move in date: from the 14/12/20 but flexible. Get in touch !
