Lovely Single bedroom in dog-friendly flat

Hello lovely gals,

We are looking for a dog-friendly flatmate for our flat in Maida Vale from the 01. May 2024!

🏡 The flat
The flat has three bedrooms over two floors and the entrance is located on ground floor in a big block of flats. Neighbours are lovely and there is private residential parking with a gate in front of the door. It is a bit of an older building, but we try to keep everything as well maintained as possible and are very clean. Obviously it has central heating with radiators in all rooms.

We tried to transform the overgrown madness of a garden when we moved in 2years ago to a lovely space to gather and have a barbecue. Last year we grew loads of tomato’s there and we have a little pond with occasional visitors 🐸

🧑🏽‍🍳🛋️🛁 Shared space
Shared spaces are an equipped kitchen (no dishwasher, but all other equipment like fridge/freezer, gas stove, oven, air fryer, dishes, blender, etc.), a big living room with couch, dining table, direct garden access, and the bathroom with bathtub-shower.

🛌 The room
It's a single bedroom, fully furnished with:
- a wardrobe
- chest of drawers
- bed + 105cm mattress (lots of storage space underneath as the bed frame is built from shelves)
- a foldable desk
- a small stool
- a little projector (replaces a big screen)

Of course you can always change bedding and curtains to style the room how ever you wish 🙂

Viewing is strongly encouraged as the room, though small, is larger than it appears in the photos and super cozy.

👨‍👩‍👧 🐕 About us
We are 3 flatmates between 30 and 40y old.
1 couple (m+f), working in Interior Design and Finance and 1 person (f) working in the film industry. From time to time there is also a little Yorkie-poodle, and we all sometimes do dog-sit others dogs because of the close vicinity to the Paddington Recreation Ground Park and our love for dogs. We all love food, music and travelling. Sometimes we have little creative evenings and watch movies and paint after work or on weekends ✨
If we are all at home, we enjoy to gather together, cook and share a dinner or a drink, but of course we also all do need our space and time to ourselves. We describe us more as a “family” and everyone is always happy to help out if there is any problems be it at work, in private life, or anything else ❤️

📍 Location
Super central location in Zone 2 Maida Vale (NW6) right next to Paddington Recreation Ground! Stations close by:
- 5 min to Maida Vale Station (🟤Bakerloo)
- 7 min to Kilburn Park Station (🟤 Bakerloo)
- 10 min to Kilburn High Street (🟠 Overground)
- 2 min to buses 316, 31, 328, N28, N31 (🚏 stop MB)
- 3 min to buses 98, 16, N32, N98 (🚏 stop KH)
- 1 min to next Gym (Everyone Active)
- 1 min to pub next door (Carlton Tavern)
- 5 min to supermarkets in Elgin Avenue
- 10 min to Tesco

💵 Rent
Total rent for the room is £900 (800 room + 100 all bills). We have to ask for one month of rent in advance, this would need to be paid when moving in, and equals to a month of notice period before moving out, so it’s very flexible!
