Lovely double rooms in an arty plant-based queer-friendly house with a big garden.
Cute residential area with independent shops, cafes and parks at our doorstep. 5 min walk to rail station with a fast (9min) route to London Bridge.

Hello :)) We're searching for two house soulmates to join our humble abode in SE. Sadly our friends need to move out to be closer to uni/ work, therefore we are looking to replace them!

Would be great to find someone clean/tidy, into art, vegan cooking and up for having fun, responsible...

About us: An Art Teacher (Sara) and a Social Worker (Hamish), both vegan of around 4 years. We like to hang out and spend time together, cook, play music, watch films, get silly etc - we have a very nice chemistry currently, so we would like to re-create a similar vibe again.

We are a safe space, and currently sharing with queer peeps, no intolerant BS allowed.

We are open to veggies or even those who aren't necessarily vegan but are happy to respect and follow vegan philosophy of cruelty free and animal-free while at the house.

About the area: Quite a quiet residential area but with lots of nice cafes and shops at our doorstep i. e. local co-op, plastic free shop, non-profit cafe, independent pub... all within a 3 minute walk.
We also have a super nice big park just around the corner where I sometimes go running or for a walk.
Although this area might not be super "happening" (lol) Hither Green train station is a 5 min walk away and gets you into London Bridge in 9 minutes. Lewisham centre and Catford are 15 min walk away and offer independent cinema, pubs and shops etc. We are for sure a little further out than other SE spots but we do get the benefit of quietness and are blessed with lots of parks at our doorstep.

From 3rd of June we will have two doubles available - one smaller, the other a very large master bedroom.
The house has wood flooring throughout and the bedrooms come unfurnished.

Bills come to around £80 a month. We use a green energy provider. We are open to short lets of at least 1 month. We can't accept couples unless they are willing to take both rooms. We are very open to people with CATS but no dogs or other animals are allowed by the landlords.
The house is not wheelchair accessible due to a narrow doorway and bedrooms being upstairs with no chair lift.

Rest of the house:

Terraced Victorian house with high ceilings that goes quite far back. We have one bathroom with a bath/shower, a sizeable kitchen with a gas 6-stove cooker, a double oven and a dishwasher.
A large living/dining room that's garden facing.
A very private-feeling garden with a garden table, shed and a few trees.

COVID context - obviously we are aware that due to the current lock-in traditional viewings won't be possible, however we are more than happy to offer a face-time viewing or pass on a video of the house and even measurements of the rooms.
Our landlords as it stands aren't open to reducing our rent or offering a reduced rent to new tenants (for the first month or so) but we are trying to persuade them still- so there could be potential flexibility there with move-in dates/ deposit even - message me for more deets.
