My flatmate has found love and is moving on soon, so I am looking for someone new to live with.
—— Available from Now ——
Everyone welcome.
Would prefer another friendly and sociable living situation over being strangers, though I also appreciate my alone time on occasion and of course respect yours too. I own the flat but it’s important to me that you are comfortable and feel that you live here too.
🛏️ Your Room:
The room is quite specious, with large windows and comes fully furnished with a storage-bed, large wardrobe, blackout blinds, desk, and more, perfect for WFH. Theres also a fold-out sofa in there and you are welcome the occasional guest (within reason). This is all flexible in case you have your own stuff too.
🏡 Our Flat:
The flat is a two-bed/one-bath new-build on the 5th floor. Our shared spaces are all fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, Harvey Water Softener & Fileter, dining area, separate laundry room with a washer/dryer, some additional storage and a cozy private balcony.
🏘️ Our Building:
The building offers a communal bike-store on the ground floor, and free access to a co-working space on the first floor, provided by the convenience store “Budgens” on the ground floor.
There is also free street parking with no permits needed.
📍 Location:
We are on the middle of quiet Pomeroy Street, and Queens Road Peckham / New Cross Gate / Nunhead stations are just a short walk away (650m/1100m or 5-12min walk depending). They should get you to London Bridge, Canary Wharf and Victoria Station in 2 & 3 stops. Whitechapel, Green Park and Shoreditch High Street is also 15-18min away. You get it!
Plus, there are plenty of bus routes and (Night Busses) on either end of the street (250m) for all directions.
👋 About Me:
I'm 34yo, from Norway, and have been living in London the past 10 years. I like to keep things clean & tidy and love to feel at home with whomever is here. I don't smoke, but don’t mind if you want to on the balcony.
I am into relaxing and reading, a bit of gardening in my balcony or in the volunteer group for the park and new orchard adjoining the building. I love to walk around the city and parks and I frequent the cinema. I am very health conscious but not a stranger to a glass of wine or a pub-quiz. I’m a big fan of a good vintage and/or food market and days in the park with my friends and their dogs.
Not a party person, and rather host some friends for a chill night at home. You are of course welcome to as well.
📅 Availability:
Available from the 25th onwards, prefer sooner rather than later bit thats flexible within early-September :)
Mainly looking for one person for at least the rest of the year, but open to discuss any durations.
Let's chat and see how we get on.
