Bright, large double room in a 4 bed house on the E. Dulwich/Forest Hill border.

The room is on the 2nd floor with a Jack and Jill bathroom shared with only one other tenant. The room includes a king size bed, built in cupboard/wardrobe space, large bookcase/shelf, and a sideboard.

The house is part of a gated complex of 6 properties set back off the main road - which means its nice and quiet. However, if you're after some bustling culture or an evening out East Dulwich and Peckham Rye are just around the corner.

The ground floor area includes an open plan kitchen/diner and lounge, a downstairs toilet, and also both front & back gardens.

The area is very green and close to the Dulwich Park, Dulwich Village, Sydenham Woods and Horniman Museum and Gardens (which includes an animal walk, aquarium, and butterfly house). Closest stations are Forest Hill (overground), West Dulwich and Herne Hill, and you can catch buses to Peckham, Crystal Palace, and Brixton very easily from the main road.

You would be sharing with three other housemates - Christian, Ryan and Damien. Christian and Ryan are cyclists, so you would need to be happy living with a few bikes! But the house is kept tidy and clean and you don't have to share their passion. We're all busy, easy going and considerate housemates, happy to go to the pub together on occasion.

If you happen to be a cyclist yourself, there's some excellent bike storage, and the garden is equipped with a hose for cleaning. Between us we have most tools you might need for regular maintenance.

Bills not included in rent. Currently come to about £110 a month plus a couple of one-off extras e. g., TV license. Bills include internet, gas, electricity, water, council tax (council tax band F), and home insurance.

Room available from 3rd Nov 2024 (could be flexible here if you needed to move stuff in a little earlier). The contract will be for a year.
