A large, bright, furnished double room in a ground floor flat with direct access to a large garden. There are 6 other flats in the beautiful period house on a wide tree-lined street. The flat is in the modern extension to the rear meaning it is private and away from road noise.

There is a large open plan living room/ kitchen with dishwasher, shared bathroom with bathtub and spacious hallway with plenty of storage. The bedroom for rent and the living room both have lovely views over the large garden and field beyond. I am working on planting the garden (since lockdown) and like to keep it looking nice :) A bike can be stored in the communal hallway of the building and parking is available on the forecourt.

There are great transport links to the West End, City and Canary Wharf. The flat is:
- a 7 minute walk from Penge East station where trains run to Brixton (13 mins), Victoria (18 mins), Blackfriars (25 mins) - zone 4
- 18 minute walk from Sydenham station trains to London bridge and orange overground line to Canada water for Jubilee line or Highbury & Islington- zone 3
- 13 minute walk from New Beckenham trains to London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing cross - zone 4

Penge and Sydenham are the local areas and there are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, bars, breweries/fancy booze shops, gyms, lovely parks and coffee shops in easy walking distance.

I work from home three days a week, and I am happy to rent to home workers. I have a cat called Ophelia, and a small dog, Delilah who is very friendly and generally quiet!

I work in health policy for NHS England and enjoy walking my dog, meeting friends, cooking, eating and drinking (in moderation!). At home, when not working, I like to relax and lounge around watching Netflix more often than I probably should. It’s nice to catch up with my flatmate after work, watch a film together or share a meal or glass of wine sometimes, but also important to both have our own space. I have a car so can pick up the heavy stuff from the supermarket!
The notice period to move out after the initial rental period would be 2 months and I'll ask for a £500 deposit and will provide a rental agreement to be signed by both of us. Bills for utilities, council tax, and broadband are included.
