Sunny double room in SW London, bills included

We have a lovely room based in our gorgeous home in Norbury, close to Streatham Common, that we’re looking to rent out full time to a lodger.

The room is a bright, quiet (garden facing so no traffic) double bedroom with plenty of storage space for hanging/ storing clothes, a mirror and a mounted TV. The room has been recently decorated including plush carpets. You will have access to a newly refurbished shared bathroom with a bath/ shower, which you will have primary access to in the mornings. Our home also has a spacious kitchen, dining area, cosy living room and sweet sunny garden which you are free to use. There is good WiFi connection throughout the house.

Our home is a short walk from Norbury station with direct train services to Balham (8 mins) London Victoria and London Bridge (20-25 mins), and East Croydon (10 mins). The number 109 bus stops at the bottom of the road and goes to Brixton. Its also a 30 minute walk to Croydon Hospital. There are plenty of high-street supermarkets nearby including Coop, Iceland and Lidl and chain ‘The Gym’ is a short walk from our home. There is also free on-street parking on our road.

We’re looking for someone who will be working from the office as we do not have an available desk set up.

We are a young professional couple in our late 20s who enjoy cooking, exercise and watching a good show in the evening. We both work in hybrid jobs meaning that we are often working from home in the day. We often have evening plans including gym/ football or social activities.

We have recently adopted a gorgeous cat, Dafodil, from a rescue, so you would need to be comfortable around a cat being around. She is super friendly, calm and sweet.
