Wandsworth, large double room

A large double bedroom available for rent on a short term basis in a Victorian conversion flat located in a leafy residential area on the borders of Southfields. Would possibly also consider Mon-Fri at a rate tba.

Sharing with just me, a professional female, in a chilled and quiet household. Rent is inclusive of bills, fast speed broadband & council tax.

I’m ideally looking for someone who is interested in an interim short term set up (from 2 months min - 6 months max) who is easy-going and independent, happy to chat over the occasional glass of wine, but who also enjoys their own personal space and social networks.

I have been living in flat for 2.5 yrs renting from a friend who has been happy for me to sublet the 2nd bedroom since I moved in. I am currently selling a property I own in Surrey and had been renting to tenants and I’m now plannng to buy back in London around April 2021, all being well. I am therefore just looking to replace my departing longer-term flatmate for a shorter let for the duration of my tenure here.

However there could be an opportunity for a longer term stay for someone if requested after the short term let period and with the agreement of my landlord friend, after which it would be necessary to secure another flatmate to replace me.

Bedroom is a lovely attic conversion at top of the house which is bright & airy, offering a great sense of personal space and privacy. Although not one in the room. there is ample space for a desk from which to work from home, also has its own large wall mounted TV.

There is a good sized sit-down kitchen and a spacious shared bathroom with bath & shower.

Sorry but as a result of my house sale, the shared lounge would not be accessible for use, as it is currently being used as storage for my belongings from my property.

Transport links are great: 15 mins walk to both Southfields tube for District Line and Wandsworth Town/Earlsfield stations for mainline trains. Bus routes for Southfields stn, Clapham Junction, Battersea, Vauxhall, Putney & Wimbledon. on-street permit parking Mon-Fri, free after 4pm & all weekend.
