Spacious, great value flat, 10 mins from Clapham J

We have a fantastic room available on a long-term basis in our lovely 3-bedroom flat near Wandsworth Town/Southfields, available from 2nd Sept (we can be flexible on the date if you need to move in a little later). Our current flatmate Linsey is leaving London to travel around the world so we are looking for someone to join us and make the flat their home.

THE FLAT
On the top floor of a converted 3-story Victorian townhouse, it has lots of character but is a modern, clean and bright space, recently painted with high ceilings and lots of windows. We also have our own garden space too with a shed.

It has a modern fitted kitchen and a spacious living room with wooden floors. It’s got two bathrooms, which you’ll share with one person. We’ve furnished the flat ourselves and although it’s a flat share, we see it as our home.

THE ROOM
The room is a good-sized double that comes unfurnished. The room has two large windows so is bright and airy.

LOCATION
The flat is 10 mins from Clapham Junction on the bus (39, 156, 37, 170, 337, 87). It's really well connected for tubes and trains - being close to the District Line (Southfields Tube - 10 mins walk and East Putney Tube - 12 mins walk) and National Rail services, with Wandsworth Town Train Station a 12 minute walk away. It is set back from the road by a garden and is on a quiet, tree lined street. Parking is available on the road with a permit required.

It’s a short walk from Southside Shopping Centre and all the shops/supermarkets around Wandsworth Town and about a 10 minute walk to the River Thames. It’s also literally just around the corner from King George’s Park, near to Wandsworth Park and not too far from Wimbledon Park, Wimbledon Common and Wandsworth Common – so lots of green space!

ABOUT US
Geoff, 29, originally from Cheltenham, works for a charity in Holborn. Rob, 30, originally from Chester, also works for a charity, in Southwark. Between us we enjoy tennis, movies, cooking, and we’re generally social people enjoying living in London. We spend time hanging out together but also enjoy our own space too.

We're open to who we share with. We’re both pretty laid back and would like to meet someone similar who is considerate, chilled and who wants to share a home and not just somewhere to sleep. We’d like to live with a working professional ideally over 23yrs.
