Double room in parkside flat – available from June

Available for both a short-term or a longer-term stay: a double room in a two-bed flat in an estate bordering Brockwell Park. The sunset is always like the one in the picture, every single night.

The closest stations are Herne Hill and Brixton, and the key USP of this flat, I'd say, is its proximity to the park, which is hilly and partially wooded and has good views of the London skyline. This is a great place if your idea of a nice Sunday is walking across the park to the farmers' market.

The flat itself has a shared kitchen, bathroom and library-like living room. The kitchen is small but the bathroom is large. The bedroom isn't palatial, but it has room for a storage unit and a small desk, both of which I can supply.

A friend has moved out and I'm now looking for someone to share the flat with me over a medium-term period. Bills we can put at about £100/month.

A bit about me: professionally, I'm a journalist specialising in progress and catastrophic risks. I'm hoping to find someone who does something interesting with their time and who shares my preference for living somewhere that's peaceful, clean and tidy. (Everyone says that kind of thing, so let me try to give a useful yardstick. At the ripe old age of 31, I'm keenest to live with people who'll be proactive about, say, taking the bin out, rather than stuffing it overfull, etc.)
