I am looking for someone to replace my tenancy in a 3 bedroom house share in Brixton as I make my first steps on the property ladder.
The room has wall to wall large windows with lots of natural light. The room comes with a bed, a bedside table and wardrobe. The room is 3m x 2.7m and is highlighted in yellow on the floorplan.

The maisonette flat has a secured key fob entry to the main building and leading off from the communal living room is a south-facing large balcony terrace. There are two bathrooms (upstairs one has a shower over bath), and a large communal kitchen with plenty of storage space and a dining area. There are two large storage cupboards; one under the stairs and one on the upstairs landing.

The location is very good, 15/20 minutes walk to the Brixton tube and Brixton Village Market and 20/25 minute walk to Brixton train station and Pop Brixton. Streatham Hill is close by and just a 15/20 minute walk away. You have the luxury of having four supermarkets within 3-15 minutes walk of the maisonette (depending which one you go to), an array of buses also with the bus stop 3 minutes walk away on Brixton Hill taking you to Brixton and central London or in the opposite direction towards Streatham. Also lots of lovely pubs, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep (Negril, Umana Yana, Herne Hill sunday market, Rum Kitchen) not to mention Brockwell Park 5 minutes walk away.

The rent is £648.34. deposit of £691.67. Bills are split evenly across the house (+ some household products) coming to £100-120ish pcm depending on the time of year.

Current lease ends in September 2024 but there’s possibility to renew it (it has been renewed since 2019).

The current flatmates are 2 girls late 20s/early 30s. One girl works in retail and is more introverted, choosing to keep to herself. The other girl works for a charity and loves to grab dinner or watch a film together when she isn't seeing west end shows or at choir rehearsals.
