Single room in family home - Full Time or M-F

I have a large (3m x 3.3m) sunny room in a family home. View of the back garden; built in wardrobe, drawers, desk and a comfortable single bed in a calm family home. Shared bathroom & use of family kitchen and washing machine etc. Wi fi. Bills included

Who lives here: Me, the Mum, a designer, my 16 yr old son (away every other weekend), a part time partner (lives elsewhere from friday-sunday). Gretel, a calm & friendly mini schnauzer (non shedding/allergenic) dog. We are friendly and easy going. We like art, music, reading, eating, playing board games, running in the park, cycling.

Where: Quiet cul de sac 2 blocks from Brockwell park, close to Brixton for great food, a short walk across the park to Herne Hill farmers market. Close knit community of friendly multi national neighbours. Good transport to Brixton, Tulse Hill, Streatham or Herne Hill. Free car parking.

We prefer: Someone busy and engaged in what they are doing, student or professional. Any nationality. Clean and tidy, friendly but with their own life. We're happy to share our meals & hang out together sometimes but equally happy if you are busy doing your own thing (like us).

Can let it as a part time or M-F let too - flexible for the right person.

Last few people have been short-term lets up to 6 months which has worked well - so that's my preference but it's about finding someone who is nice to live with so I'm open either way.

To move in £200 deposit is required. I have a standard contract.

Ps. we are currently decorating the hallway and some of the other rooms in the house so communal areas look MUCH scruffier than in these pictures, but the room for rent is freshly done and looks fine!

Pps: if you message me and don't have an ad listed yourself then PLEASE do tell me something about yourself and not just a "when can i view your room". This is my family home and I'll only rent to someone that we will get on with so I need to have an idea of who you are.
