Double bedroom in West London house

Hello!

We're Emily, Lilly and Jas - looking to fill a room in our 4-bedroom house-share in West London, as our other flatmate has just moved to a new area!

It’s a pretty chill vibe - we all get along well and enjoy sharing the space, have the occasional movie night, glass of wine, pub quiz, etc! It's a nice balance and hoping to find someone similar :)

The house has a lot of personality and it’s really important that we find someone who wants to make it their home and take care of it. We have a private landlord who is very nice and lives close by.

Room:

- Large double bedroom
- Lovely & bright with 2 large windows facing SE and SW
- Windows overlooking gardens
- Includes bed, mattress & 2x wardrobes - plenty of storage in the room and the rest of the house
- Plenty of space in the room for a desk
- Our landlord is happy to replace the bed if you'd prefer one with a higher frame, as the current one is quite low to the ground.
- Bedroom is upstairs, off the shared living room

House:

- 4 bedroom house with lots of character
- 2 shower bathrooms
- Access is through a front gate on the street but the actual house is hidden behind with a big courtyard, so it’s really private and quiet
- Downstairs: kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms
- Upstairs: living room, 2 bedrooms (including this one)
- Parking on street if you buy a permit
- Kitchen with dishwasher & all other appliances
- Big TV in living room
- All kitchen cutlery & utensils etc are shared and included
- Private out-buildings with washing machine & tumble dryer, plus good additional storage space and desk space (currently in use most days by one of us WFH)
- Lots of storage space inside and outside (bikes etc)
- Big outside courtyard

Existing housemates:

- 3 other females aged 29-30, all working full-time
- 2 of us do hybrid/WFH

Location:

- In the Shepherd’s Bush / Chiswick area
- Quiet street with a small park 1 minute walk away and Ravenscourt Park 10 minutes
- Just off Askew Road which has supermarkets, pubs, lovely cafes
- 20 min walk to Turnham Green area
- 25 min walk to Westfields

Stations:

- Stamford Brook - District line (15 min walk)
- Shepherd’s Bush Market - H&C line (20 min walk or bus)
- Shepherd’s Bush & East Acton - Central line (25 min walk or bus)
- Hammersmith (longer to walk but easy by bus)

Other costs:

- WiFi is around £11.50 a month each
- We use Splitwise to keep track of shared household bits (loo roll, cleaning stuff etc)
