Room in a beautiful 2-bedroom house

Hello!

I am looking for a new housemate in my beautiful 2 bedroom, terraced house in West London.

The area

The house is in a quiet, peaceful and safe residential area. We have all types of shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs on our doorstep - it's genuinely a really lovely area. Its a 15 minute from from Stamford Brook station (district line), and very close to several bus stops that traverse West London.

The house

There's a large shared bathroom, a separate kitchen, and dining room / sitting room area. I have an adorable cat, named Simli (meaning "glittery" in Turkish), who I adopted when I was living in Istanbul. He's a calm, indoor cat and spends most of his time grooming himself and sleeping. He doesn't bite or scratch and, though I'm biased, everyone loves him.

The house comes fully furnished, so there's no need to bring anything other than things to decorate your bedroom. I'm keen to keep the house clutter free as far as possible!

There's a small garden, which will be my project over winter to get into shape for the spring. So someone with green fingers is welcome!

The room

The room is medium sized, and currently has a small double futon bed (preference of the previous roommate).

The room is at the back of the house, so very quiet. With a large window for light, and a good amount of storage space.

Move in dates

The room will become available from the begging of April, however, I'm not in a rush to find someone as the priority is to find the right housemate. So if you can only move in after the of April, we can have a chat to see when works.

About me

I'm a civil servant and I've just moved back to London from Istanbul, where I was working for 3 years. I'm a calm person, who enjoys walks, cooking, museums, and sports (amongst many other things). I work from the office 3 days a week, and will occasionally be away for weekends as I spend time on my farm in Yorkshire.

As a housemate, I tend to go with the flow and dynamic of the person I'm living with to find a balance. So for instance, I'm happy to cook for each other, do shared food shops, etc. Alternatively, if its better to keep things separate, that works for me too.

Its important to me to have a clean and tidy house, for the vibes to be positive and friendly, and where something isn't working for either of us that we can feel comfortable talking about it.

About you

It would be great to find someone who is also balanced and easy going, and cares about having a clean house and joyous living environment. Preferably, you would be working, and have some days in the office.

Rent

Rent is £1000 per month, including all bills and council tax.
