So my housemates Emma and Holly are moving out after a combined total of 14 years of living here! They are buying their first home and I am looking for people to fill the rooms.
The house is a real gem, and its pretty rare to get such affordable rent in this location. The location is excellent, we are within walking distance (10 minutes) to Hammersmith and Barons Court tube station. Hammersmith is served by 4 tube lines. We also have great bus links which are a few minutes walk away from the house. These take you straight into the hustle and bustle of the city, or the relaxed nature of Richmond. There is a local Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose and several coffee shops at the end of the road. We are also a stones throw away from the river!
We have a recently refurbished bathroom with a shower over bathtub, recently revamped garden and patio, spacious living room and a spacious kitchen.
Room 1 - This is bright, cosy single room. It has plenty of storage and a built in wardrobes. The single bed was mine and its relatively new in great condition with storage underneath. There is no furniture included in this room other than the bed. The room is small, hence its price, so it would suit someone who isn’t in London often and needs a base, etc.
Room 2 - This bedroom is situated at the front of the house and has a lot of sunshine. It’s very bright, airy, with 2 big wardrobes and loads of storage. It includes the bed, desk and chair!
Room 3 - The best till last! This is a very large en-suite double. It is on the top floor, and feels nice and quiet, almost disconnected from the rest of the house. The en-suite bathroom has a shower over the bath and a small balcony. Its very bright and spacious with plenty of natural light and amazing storage throughout the room. The bed and desk plus desk chair is staying.
About me -
I currently work a mix from home and in the office as a landscape architect in Surrey. I am pretty easygoing, clean and easy to live with. I love being outdoors in nature, running by the river, and visiting family and friends both overseas and in the UK. I am looking for new housemates who are respectful of others, clean and easy going. The current dynamic works really well, so essentially I want people who are easy to live with. This definitely isn’t a party house, so I’m looking for people who are similar ages. That being said, it would be lovely to have BBQ’s in the summer, go to the local riverside pubs together, walks ect.
But I also value & respect our privacy, as London can be overwhelming at times and there are definitely times when I feel I need some me time!
You must be available to pay rent from the 1st June and you can move in anytime from this date. Thank you for your interest and I really look forward to meeting you!
