Double room in Lower Clapton

Living area

Double room available in our spacious two-floor garden flat in Lower Clapton. We have been living here for a year and a half now and are looking for a new flatmate to join us.

On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen-living room, and a toilet. This area is nice and light, with double aspect windows so it gets all the sun. We have comfy sofas and some big shelves for extra storage. The kitchen is all new, and has a dining table, washing machine and coveted dishwasher. There’s also a huge garden at the back of the flat (which admittedly needs some work). Downstairs, there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over bath, as well as some pretty fancy lighting. The bedroom available is a double and comes furnished with a bed (with decent mattress), chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

Lower Clapton is a really nice area that we love living in. We are surrounded by green spaces (like Hackney marshes and the canal), which have been perfect for lockdown walking and cycling. There are tons of local cafes, restaurants, shops, and two great cinemas for when things open up again. We are also only 10 minutes from Hackney Central, Hackney Downs and Homerton stations.

About us: Charlotte works in policy for a health charity and Natalie is a psychology lecturer. We are considerate and clean, and like to keep the flat a nice place to be. In the evenings we like to relax, cook and watch films etc. We make the most of where we live and enjoy going for walks at the weekends. We are also looking forward to getting back to all the local brunch spots.
