Spacious double room in cosy Lower Clapton flat

Looking for a new flatmate to take over the bigger bedroom in my 2-bed flat in Lower Clapton.

The room is a spacious double and comes furnished with a double bed, a large chest of drawers and plenty of storage. There’s no desk at the moment, but there’s definitely space for one if needed.

The flat is a open-plan place in really good condition. It’s definitely cosy rather than huge and has a shared bathroom and a combined kitchen/living space so would suits someone who wants a calm home rather than a party flat.

Rent + bills come to around £1,000 per month (sometimes a bit more expensive in winter).

The location is incredible, it’s a 5 minute walk to Homerton station and the flat itself is literally just off Chatsworth Road with loads of great coffee shops, restaurants and pubs, plus the market on the weekend! There’s no garden or balcony, but Millfields Park is only a short walk away and perfect when the weather is nice.

You’d be living with me (Elin) I’m 33 and work as a Service Manager in the NHS. I’m mostly office based and spend quite a lot of the time outside the flat. I do have a busy life, so when I’m home I like things relaxed and easy. I’ve lived here with my current flatmate for two years (we originally met through a houseshare and are now close friends) I’m hoping to find someone social and considerate that wants to live with a person and not just split rent. Someone who is up for a occasional coffee, pub trip or watching a film but also has their own life and isn’t at home 24/7.

Would prefer someone in their late 20s to mid 30s with a full time job (not fully WFH).
