Double room with en-suite and balcony

We’re looking for a new flatmate for a first-floor double room with ensuite in our lovely modern mews house. The room is unfurnished (except for built in open wardrobe), warm, and has double doors opening onto a private balcony that fills the space with natural light and sunshine throughout the day 🌞 


The rent listed here includes council tax (Band E) and broadband, but not water, gas, or electricity. Bills come to about £60/month per person. 



The house has three floors: 
* open-plan living/dining room + kitchen on the ground floor

* two bedrooms + bathroom with bathtub on the 1st floor

* two bedrooms + bathroom with shower on the 2nd floor



The house is full of life but well cared for — it’s relatively new, and we have a handyman who’s usually very quick and fuss-free with any fixes. All the common areas are already furnished with our things, including plants, kitchenware, furniture, and a TV, so it feels cosy and ready to live in. 🪴 



We live on a quiet mews just off buzzing Chatsworth Road. It’s tucked away from the main road, so it’s very peaceful, with friendly neighbours and a lovely spot to sit outside when the weather’s nice. There’s bike storage in the mews, and we also keep bikes in our own small rear patio. Homerton Station is only a 9 minute walk away, Hackney Downs about 20 minutes. Every Sunday Chatsworth Road has a lively street market! 🌿 



You’ll be sharing with Helen, Hayley, George and our recent new addition, Felix the cat. 🐈 We’re a quiet, friendly bunch who enjoy the occasional get-together. It’s not a party house 😉 but we do like hosting the odd dinner or birthday in our lovely big ground-floor space.


We’d love someone tidy and considerate to join us. Preferably not someone working from home full-time. Viewings will be on w/c 23rd March with move-in on 1st May 2026.
