Bright double room available in Homerton house

Hi all!

I am moving out of my beautiful bright room in Homerton to move in with my partner at the end of our current tenancy.

The house is on a quiet residential street just off Chatsworth Road. It’s a 10 minute walk to Homerton overground station which connects you to Highbury and Islington and the Victoria line. We’re within walking distance of Hackney Central, Hackney Wick, and Victoria Park, and have good bus connections into Central London.

Chloe and Jake will be staying on on the new tenancy and are keen to someone to stay long-term as well. Chloe is an art programmer and Jake is a Research Scientist. It’s a sociable house and we enjoy watching movies together, going out to the pub and cooking a nice dinner together when we can, although of course we respect eachothers space. We also have two of the neighbours cats that often come and hang out with us in the kitchen.

The house has great common spaces; a big kitchen with both a breakfast bar and dining area with direct access to a big garden, a separate living room with a tv, and a big bathroom with a bath.

The room is on the first floor, furnished with a bed and built in cupboard space. Please note all other furniture in the room belongs to me, though I am open to discussing selling some of it if needed. The room is super bright, looking out onto the garden.

Current monthly bills breakdown £118.15 (£7.75 WiFi, £11.21 tv license, £13.65 water, £23.53 energy, £39.51 council tax, £11.25 fortnightly cleaner).

The new tenancy begins on the 1st of May but I am happy to move out the weekend before (26th of April) for ease.
