Room in spacious and sunny flat with garden!

A room is coming open in our spacious and sunny flat. I wouldn’t be leaving if it wasn’t because I am moving with my boyfriend!

About the flat:

The flat is in a Victorian terraced house on a quiet street just around the corner from Clissold Park and Woodberry Wetlands, with Finsbury Park also close by. Finsbury Park station is about a 10 minute walk, and Manor House station is about a 5 minute walk. There’s a sainsburys, Co-op, and other options all within easy walking distance as well as all the shops in Stoke Newington only 15 minutes away. The flat has a large open-plan living room/kitchen and also loads of outside space (we have both a terrace and a garden).

We all work Monday to Friday so mid-week we keep it chilled, maybe socialise in the living room. On the weekends, we're a bit more lively, going out together or with our other friends, or sharing movie nights and Deliveroo with a drink between us. We are into a range of music, movies, and food. We’re a fairly social house and we all get on, but all have our own lives and do our own thing as well.

The housemates:

Alessandro is from Malta, and works as an architect. He is the person with the biggest heart I ever met. Also he makes a great blue cheese dip and has tons of anecdotes about sailing around the world. (He also has Deliveroo premium 😛)

Ian is American and works at a creative agency doing messaging and comms! He’s equally at home, always up for a chat at an independent cinema or in the local pub and loves a good BBQ. He also frequents the tennis courts at both Clissold and Finsbury park.

Charles works in costume in the film industry! He is an amazing cooker and always (and he always has red wine to share 😋 )

he contract/dates/logistics:

Your name will be on the contract which you will sign when you move in. The landlord lets us ask for 6 or 12 months at a time.

The room:

£700 per calendar month (bills not included) — furnished with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, a couple of floating shelves and a bedside table.

You:

We're looking for someone friendly, considerate and kind who will join us for movies in the living room and pub trips from time to time, but is also happy to do their own thing.

Bills & deposit:

Bills are approx. £70.00/month. We also have a wonderful weekly cleaner who we take turns paying (works out as ~£26 each a month)

No deposit, but we ask for a month's rent and bills upfront to hold the room.

🌸 Honesty these guys are THE BEST and the house is definitely worth a visit 🌸 I would not be moving out if it wasn’t because I am moving with my partner! The vibe in the house is amazing, friendly and independent at the same time, and the house is beautiful. Definitely the best flatmates and house share I ever lived in 🥰
