Room in lovely warehouse community in North London

We're looking for a new housemate to join us in our sociable and friendly warehouse unit in Manor House in north London!

ABOUT US:
We are a close and happy group who like to spend time with each other and often get out and about together in Haringey and further afield. We're looking for someone that wants to be sociable, contribute to the upkeep of the house (e. g. cleaning!) and make this a great home.

*The room is available from 14th April, but you can actually start moving in a few days beforehand (for free!).

The other four rooms are occupied by: Tim - the first of us who turned 30 last year (had a nice party!) working for Farm Africa and learning the piano right now. Tom - started working in Westminster (whoop, whoop), he is our expert for all things socialistic. Hannah - who just moved in recently and works at the Genome Campus in Cambridge with always a big smile on her face. And the loveliest ever married couple Sev & Kyra who are budding Animation/GFX and hairdressing specialists! (Respectively that is, it's not yet a combined field...)

--> We are all quite interested in politics and most of us cycle. We sometimes go out together but often just chill at home, eat and drink together. We rarely have big parties in the house itself (plenty of those available around the area) but it's a great place to have groups of people round for more low key partying.

ABOUT THE FLAT:
We are in Stonehouse between Overbury Road and Eade Road. It is really well located on the Haringey/Hackney border. We are a 10 minute walk from Haringey Green Lanes where there are lots of great local shops, restaurants and pubs, and a short bus from Stoke Newington, Finsbury Park and Crouch end and direct buses to Camden. Manor House and Seven Sisters tube stops are both about 10 minutes, as are Stamford Hill and Haringey Green Lanes overground stations.

We are living in the Manor House Warehouse Community where there are hundreds of people living in converted warehouses with lots of gigs, parties and performance and art events going on in neighbouring units. Generally the area is quite quiet during the week with stuff going on at weekends.

ABOUT THE ROOM:
You can keep the double bed with mattress, a wardrobe, some drawers, a sofa and various other little bits and pieces. Importantly for a warehouse... there is a nice big window to enjoy actual real natural light...!

The house has two bathrooms, each with showers, so there's never a queue; a kitchen with an oven, two fridge freezers, a washing machine and lots of storage space; and a huge open plan living/dining space with sofas. We don't have a garden but there is lots of space outside to sit when the weather is good. The deposit is £600.

ABOUT YOU:
It would be great to have someone moving in with the same "spirit" as we are. So you guys should be sociable, interested in life and open to do some Sunday Roasts or whatever else together. Although you can't eat from the floor in our house, you should be a responsible person who also doesn't mind cleaning.
