Georgian townhouse minutes from Mile End tube

Hi there!

My housemate is moving into her own place so a room in our flat share is available.

The flat is on the 2nd & 3rd floor in the Georgian Townhouse 2 mins walk from Mile End station. You will live with one other person in the flat, me, a 37 year old female, working in marketing. The landlord lives in a separate flat on the ground floor and basement.

The room itself is a cosy attic room with a double bed, sky light.

£650 per month
Bills (council tax, internet, water, energy, tv license) are about £150.

The contract for the flat is due to be renewed, so looking for someone who would want to sign up to a new contract.

The living area has a dining table AND a bonus spare room, if you work from home.

The room is likely to be available w/c 17th June - possibly sooner tbc. I’m ok with being flexible on move for the right person.

ABOUT ME
- I'm a 37 year old female professional working in marketing. I freelance, so my schedule is quite mixed, 50/50 working from home in my room/ working in central London.
- Overall I'm a creative person: my interests include travel, books, craft, video games, music, swimming, trying not to kill my houseplants - most evenings these days are doing one of those activities.
- I am quite a social person - I enjoy a catch-up over a wine or two and sharing a series from time to time, I would like to live with someone where we enjoyed each others company
- I tend to come and go and spend some time at by boyfriends in North London.
- I’m quite a social person but tend to do this out of the house, and occasionally would have a friend to stay from time to time.
- My party days are (mostly!) over ;)
- I'm LGBTQ+ friendly :)

ABOUT YOU
- You are looking for a home rather than just a room
- You are clean, respectful, housetrained and clean up after yourself - there is no cleaner, dishwasher or cleaning fairy here
- I'm open on gender
- You enjoy socialising on occasion, maybe sharing a meal or a glass of wine in the evening, but also enjoys their own space - it's all about balance :)
- You have a decent Mario Kart game (not essential, but a fun extra!)
