Big Double Room in Crouch End!

The room!

Hi!

Our lovely house-mate is moving out and we need someone to take her place. There’s no concrete move in/out date, she’s moving in with her fella so is ready to go whenever we find the right person.

The house itself is a 1950's semi-detached house between Muswell Hill and Crouch End (5-10 mins walk to either).

The Room:
It's a big double room (3.9m x 3.7m) with a built in wardrobe that overlooks our back garden and patio.

The wardrobe's floor to ceiling but not very wide. The room comes unfurnished and there's plenty of space to fit whatever you'll need.

The room's at the back of the house so that combined with the solid walls and the fact that we live beside the local priest means it's dead quiet.

The House:
It's a lovely 4-bed semi-detached house, wooden floors downstairs, carpet upstairs. The landlord lives abroad and it's managed by an agent. There's free parking on the street and a driveway to be shared with another housemate's car.

The Garden:
We have a MASSIVE garden and patio and we've loads of sun loungers and patio tables and chairs and bench swings and a giant trampoline and garden gnomes and things.

Downstairs:
There's a large sitting room with a gas-fire and giant couch for watching crap TV, Netflix and generally chilling out.

There's a pretty big kitchen with an island and stools where we spend a lot of our time cooking and eating and drinking.

To the back there's an office/TV room that leads on to the patio. Two of us are freelancers and work from here or are out on location.

Things We've Got:
Broadband and WiFi, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Trampoline.

Travel:
We're close to the Northern, Victoria and Piccadilly Lines so we're 45 Mins to Soho or London Bridge, 50 Mins to Brixton and anywhere else really. It's a walk up to Highgate Station or a short bus to Finsbury Park Station.

Local:
Crouch End is our closest high street with a Co-Op, mini-Waitrose, Tesco and M&S. It's full of good pubs and places to eat. We're also at the bottom of Ally Pally hill which is great for walks, pints, gigs and antique fairs if that's your thing.

Housemates:
We're Luke, Nancy & Rachel. Two Irish heads and a Dudley lass, we've known each other so we're really good mates, not just housemates and often go drinking and partying together.

We're a Filmmaker, Make-Up Artist and a BBC Radio Person, so we work odd schedules and can often all be home during the day or be away for chunks of time. We're a pretty social house and want whoever joins us to fit in with that. We regularly have people over to visit and would all know each other’s friends very well.
