I have a cozy double room in NW10, Neasden area. It is close to Wembley Park(10 min by bus).
This area has a very good connection to most of other London areas. The buses that are around here: 302,182,245,297,332,112,232.
In regards to the shops, it's just a 3 min walk.
We are 3 other flatmates, 2 students and one professional. (2 women, one young male).
There is a private garden where we like to have little BBQs when the weather is appropriate. We love to watch movies, listen to music to a reasonable volume. We like to socialize but also appreciate one's another privacy.
This is a friendly and welcoming place that does not have many rules other than respect, paying the rent and being clean.
