Double bedroom + private living room and bathroom

An amazing SUITE OF ROOMS (bedroom, private bathroom & living room) will be available in our house in New Cross Gate. £900/month plus bills.

This is a rare opportunity in London to have a bit more privacy and space, while also creating a nourishing and supportive home with us.

Open to couples and individuals.

ABOUT THE SPACE

As well as your own bedroom/living room/bathroom, you'll have access to:
- a big shared kitchen
- a large (slightly wild) garden with space for bicycles
- a basement that can be used for storage

The rooms contain a bare minimum of furniture already. There's also the option to swap in some of your own.

Bills currently cost between £75-80 per person, split between four people.

We also have a cleaner who we pay the living wage to clean communal areas fortnightly. It's an extra £13 per person, per month.

Our landlords are kind and reasonable people and we get on well with them.

LOCATION

We're on a quiet and leafy back-street in a conservation area in New Cross Gate.

- 9-minute walk to New Cross Gate station
- 17-minute walk to Queens Road Peckham and New Cross Station
- 25-minute walk to Deptford

All of these stations have frequent Overground trains, and are 1 train stop away from London Bridge. Lots of buses too.

New Cross, Deptford and Peckham are all lively and arty areas. Greenwich Park and Nunhead Cemetery are lovely for walks.

ABOUT US

My fiancée Emily and I will be your housemates.

We met at a mindfulness meditation group five years ago.

Emily is 29. She works in tech, making government services more environmentally friendly.

I'm 36, also working in tech. I'm passionate about designing accessible websites that everyone can use.

We care about:

* Making a difference through our work
* Taking care of ourselves: good sleep, yoga/cycling/exercise, a nourishing home environment
* Nature. We love forests and city farms, rewilding, etc.
* Spending time with our family in London and France
* Spirituality, self-development (non-violent communication, mindfulness, yoga)
* Choral singing, dancing (5Rhythms)
* Travel (we often go to the mountains in France)
