Cheap double room in friendly houseshare

The living room

We’re three friendly flatmates looking to fill the fourth double bedroom in our New Cross Gate flatshare. The room is “cosy”, which we all know is London flathunt-speak for small, though it is appropriately priced at £490pm including all bills! It’s available immediately and we’re aiming to find someone to move in no later than 1st July.

The room comes with a double bed, bedside cabinet, and clothes hanger. The flat itself has a sizeable living room and has easily accommodated previous flatmates who’ve needed to work from home this past year. Along with the kitchen, bathroom, and the other three bedrooms, there is a very large shared garden that is fantastic now we’re finally hitting the summer months!

We’re five minutes from New Cross Gate station and have so many bus routes nearby that we often just hop on a bus to get anywhere.

About us: we’re two girls and a guy, professionals and students, looking for someone friendly and relaxed. While one of us has lived here for almost seven years, the rest of us (which will include you) are fairly new due to previous flatmates needing to leave for new post-lockdown jobs involving commuting and the like. As we haven’t lived here post-lockdown, we’re hoping to embrace the “new normal” with a friendly household, pub visits (especially when we don’t have to book a table in advance and can just pop to the local!) and enjoying the garden sun.
